The TRUTH

“Satan’s desire and work is to make us extinct.  God’s desire and work is to make us DISTINCT!”

Sometimes I believe we need to be careful to not exhibit that “our beliefs” are something that are ours exclusively.  This would not be the Truth.  For everything we believe, if it is according to God’s lines, first and always belongs to God alone.  Then the Spirit of God illuminated us to the Truth and we believed.  We believe God.

Therefore the Truth is my acknowledging that God is true – God and God alone.  And when I believe in the Truth as He shows us, I am blessed, I am free, and I “see” Christ more clearly and more dearly.

God is careful to show us how NOT to sound like the world.  We do not have “another religion,” as the world would view it. 

   

The one and only distinction for sure is God’s Word of Life and His Son, Jesus Christ.  The cross of Jesus Christ is the place where all men must be pointed to in order to have a true faith in God and in His Son.

For it was at the cross, God was settling the issue for mankind and revealing HIS PLAN to have a NEW MAN in CHRIST JESUS!  But this is not a one time look thinking, “Oh well, I’ve got that down…”

The cross meant death to systems of man, (man likes to be religious instead of believing God),  the old life of Adam in any form, and LIFE solely in the Son of God, the New Man, not only at the time of new birth, but throughout my walk here and ALL eternity!  Abide, abide, abide!

We died and our LIFE is HIDDEN in Christ in God!  Colossians 3

This drives the TRUTH deeper and richer.  And my trust is based on the Word of God resulting in true fruitfulness.  God is ALWAYS satisfied when my mind is renewed solely to the TRUTH and shaped away from the ALL world’s subtle insinuations – which behind that is nothing short of Satan.

I know we can pray for clarity of mind and clarity of God’s Word all according to His lines – the TRUTH.  I know we can pray that God open the eyes of our spiritual hearts to “SEE” His Son, “SEE” His Word EXACTLY HOW it is – not according to any private interpretation!

 The Word of God is perfect, clean, enduring – and God desires to teach us all the same things regarding Himself and Jesus Christ.  We are HIS students, HIS beloved children and I know it is important to HIM to not have a part of any lie because He does not and will not!  Psalm 19; I John 2:27

“Let God be true and every man a liar.”

God has given us a sword – the Word of God.  Swords always SLICE clean (if they are sharp!) – The Holy Spirit in us guides that SWORD so it affects our minds and hearts into a clean cut – cutting right through all deceptions and lies that exist here on the earth!  The result?  Joy and peace in Christ Jesus and a true walk.

This is exciting to me because it is GOD’S WILL for us to know the TRUTH clearly!  So if I come to God and let HIM show me the TRUTH, then the Word of God will make the distinctions for me – clearly and succinctly.  Then what follows is a clear-cut path in which I am to walk – which is REALLY following Jesus Christ!

“Thank you God for causing us to KNOW all things pertaining to life and godliness while we dwell here on earth – thank you for YOUR faithfulness to teach us, train us, enlighten us.  We do not belong to the world, Father but belong to YOU – thank you for keeping us from ALL evil – even the way we think!  In Jesus name, AMEN!”
