What Is the Gospel of Jesus Christ?

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is God's Good News to every person. All God requires from us is that we believe AND receive Him. And HOW to believe Him is found in the Scriptures which He had written down through men who simply wrote as the Spirit inspired them.

The Scriptures declare that each person who has ever been born into this world, has eternal death. This is because of the sin that was brought into man at the very beginning through Adam. Of course there is much to understand about this, but all one has to do is look around and see that sin and death are in this world.

Yet God's heart and plan was only to redeem mankind from eternal death. So He created a new man, Jesus Christ. How did He do it? God conceived Jesus into the womb of a virgin named Mary by His Holy Spirit. That's incredible!

Jesus grew up like a human (but He was God in the flesh!) We can say it this way too: God came to the earth dressed up like man only to redeem us. Why? Because of HIS GREAT LOVE!

So then what happened? Jesus Christ grew and NEVER sinned! He lived a perfect life. And because of this, SIN never entered Him, neither did eternal death.

Then Jesus Christ at the age of 30 ministered to thousands of people in Israel, preaching the good news of grace and truth - announcing Himself as the Sacrificial Lamb to the world. He Himself said:

"For God SO LOVED the WORLD that He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN Son - that WHOEVER BELIEVES in HIM, will NOT perish but have everlasting LIFE." John 3:16

Jesus Christ became that Lamb on His Cross. On HIS cross that He bore for the sins of the whole world, God was judging all the sin and death that came into the world! Then He raised His Son up from the dead, because He was the innocent Lamb.

Death could not keep Him - He was found NOT GUILTY, but bore our GUILT for us! Isaiah 53

Jesus bore OUR death, OUR sins so we could have HIS Resurrection Life as God's FREE GIFT, from God's generous grace and mercy!

This simply means there is no religion in the world that can make us right with God. God HIMSELF has provided Jesus to make us right with God!

So whenever one repents for substituting God's provision (religion, sins, being their own God) - believes God and receives God's Son (God's only provision for salvation), we are taken out of death and placed into eternal life - Jesus Christ! We are now right with God through Him.

We become God's children through GRACE - we are united with Christ in His life and Spirit.

ALL SINS forever ARE forgiven through Christ's blood that was shed for us. We will be transformed and continually transformed by Christ now dwelling in our hearts by God's Spirit! God gives us HIS HOLY SPIRIT to live in our hearts.

We begin to discover all God has planned for the ages to come. We are not longer held by sin and death, but kept by God's power until and as He continues on with His eternal plan.

Will you not become as a little child and receive God's marvelous gift of His great salvation for you?

All are invited by God, no matter how sinful, how vile one's life has been - you are invited to receive God's gift of life through Christ. The reason one sins so much is because we didn't have Christ; He is the power over all sin.

God has made it simple. Here it is:

"If you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God HAS raised Him from the death (for you!), you will be saved!" Romans 10:9

God is listening! He sent Christ for you personally. God's heart is to save us, not condemn us. He says so.

God's Gospel is glorious!
