Spiritual Hearing - Simply Believing God

The power of SIN, the unbelief rooted in sin, Satanic lies and evil VISIT every person on this planet.  As a matter of fact – EVERY PERSON is CONSTITUTED FIRST in sin and death when they are born on this planet Earth.  And then when we RECEIVE Christ, we are CONSTITUTED in HIM and HIS LIFE.

 

This deserves a huge HALLELUJAH and this is GOOD, GOOD, GOOD NEWS!

Each family can have certains sins that are passed down to generations.  Those sins show up at the doorstep and VISIT the family.  They are unseen and certainly if we knew HOW they were visiting, they would be UNWELCOMED (as believers).

How do I know?  It’s easy.  Look in every family tree – interview prisoners and other people, and if the father abused their children, then many times over the children abuse their children.  Or in the family tree, you might see a line of alcoholism and other things as such.

Yep, SINS visit families.  How then do we STOP sin from visiting? All sin is:  CHOKING ONE TO DEATH and DECEIVING WHILE DOING IT.

On the other hand many times over you see in a family tree, where there are a line of preachers!  So the TRUTH visits generations as well.  Well I say, GLORY!  Remember praying grandparents?  Hmmm…

Well, RELIGIOUS spirits visit generations.  They like to show up on a doorstep of a family.  If a father was very legalistic in his approach to the Word of God (not being taught by God’s Spirit), the deception of twisting and perverting God’s Word gets into the minds of the children (sometimes maybe not all of them).  These are deceiving spirits who like to keep people in bondage in their minds.  Satan is the CULPRIT - He wants people to join him in eternal death OR at least keep one in bondage for their lifetime.

In the book of Genesis, a statement was made by God.  He says “sin is creeping at the door to master you.”  But in Romans we are told that “SIN SHALL NOT have DOMINION OVER YOU.”

I really do “hear” differently today than I ever have.  On the physical side, I wear TWO hearing aids.  My physical hearing got worse in my right ear back in the 80’s – little by little I lost 50% of it.  And some of you know I was born without hearing in my left ear and grew up that way.   But a hearing aid that ear helped to have some enhanced hearing.

Well amazingly enough, the brain adjusts to hearing aids –I had to “relearn” how to hear after a good long while of not hearing properly.  

Spiritual hearing is similar to physical hearing.  Paul makes reference to becoming “dull in hearing,” or the Corinthians were not able to “bear” certain things.  Hebrews shares about “if today you HEAR HIS voice HARDEN NOT your hearts."

And of course we all know how many times the Lord Himself repeated these words, “He who has ears to HEAR – LET HIM HEAR."

This is TRULY a POSITIVE LIFE-GIVING statement – not condemnation.  If we HEAR HIM, WE SHALL LIVE.  “Be renewed in the spirit of your mind…”

Oh my, the Christ who dwells in us by His Holy Spirit is able, desirous, and AFTER our TRUE spiritual  hearing.  There is only ONE CHANNEL with God – not many different channels.  Only ONE.  The name of that CHANNEL is “THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH!”  a/k/a:  The MIND OF CHRIST.  I need HIS THOUGHTS EVERY DAY!

The other channel is the LIE CHANNEL.  On that channel you hear all kinds of things:  the world, the flesh, the devil – everything rooted and perpetrated by THE LIE – SATAN HIMSELF.  Oh “we wrestle NOT with flesh and blood, but with principalities, powers, and all the evil wickedness in high places!”

Channel One is our Lord Jesus Christ – Channel Two is Satan.  No other channels – do we want to be more vigilant and recognize WHO we are listening to?  It can be subtle at times.

God is not condemning us – He is LEADING us to LIVE BY the REALITY of CHRIST within our hearts!  God is NOT saying on His channel anything but LOVE and LIFE and TRUTH. 

Satan however, subtly whispers suspicion, separation (from God), hoops to jump, evil ideas about others especially in Christ, wrong perceptions – you name it – it’s on that channel.

God has said in I John 2:27 we have HIS anointing – the Spirit of God within who is of NO LIE and is TRUE.  I think all of us are looking for ABIDING in His life and liberty - not anything else.

God HIMSELF explains EVERYTHING to us.  The only EFFORT we make on our end is TUNE IN.  How many people watch television today again and again.  And all they have to do is turn the thing on.  The rest is done for them by the one who is producing the program, the airwaves bringing the reception, the TV box doing what is made for, etc.

We can TUNE IN to the SPIRIT OF GOD CONSTANTLY!  It’s our PRIVILEGE of BEING IN HIM!  He IS LIFE and liberty ALL THE TIME.  God Himself will teach us all HOW to walk in the Spirit of Life and TRUTH.

What are some of the things we will hear in the Mind of Christ and Spirit of TRUTH?

Accepted in the Beloved, redeemed, forgiven, blessed with ALL spiritual blessings, justified by His blood and grace, SONS OF GLORY (HIS GLORY) – joint-heirs with Christ, complete in Christ, taken out of sin and death and placed into HIM, HIS LIFE, in HIM are HIDDEN ALL the treasures of wisdom and knowledge – led by the Spirit of LIFE – partakers of HIM, His Divine Nature – not condemned but seated with Him in the heavenly places, NOTHING SEPARATING US FROM HIS LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS….

The key to hearing God is to BELIEVE GOD.  “Faith comes…by HEARING…and HEARING by the Word of God (Life)!”
