Isn’t it marvelous?  We belong to God through Jesus Christ!  God has given Him a name above all names.  God has highly exalted Him FAR ABOVE the heavens, dominion, principalities and powers.  The Scriptures say so which means God has said so.  It’s true.

Man without Christ keeps (and Satan is behind it) “dabbling” with God’s Truth – twisting it, making it of less value, questioning it, rearranging it, etc.

Man with Christ is under siege at times, for believing what God has said and done.  We are also, at times, caught taking a bite of the serpent’s savory (but slimy) dish of lies or twisted truth.

You can be across the world and still the same is encountered:  man thinks he can “do” something to attain or gain with God.  This has been happening since the fall.  Cain and Abel brought two sacrifices – Cain brought fruit, Abel brought blood.  Cain’s was “his idea,” and Abel’s was God’s Truth.  They both must have been taught that God provided blood for Adam and Eve, when they sinned.  AND that this was God’s way – no other way was acceptable or could possibly bear fruit in their relationship with God.

Today, God has provided the Beautiful Lamb for our salvation:  Jesus Christ.

And we all know He is the way, the Truth, and the Life.

BUT God has provided His Way to fruitful relationship with Him AND fruit through us.  It is through an everlasting Table for us to dine at daily: 

The King’s Table.

The Server:  the Holy Spirit of God.

The food:  God’s Holy Scriptures taught by His Spirit to our hearts – personally!

The Plate:  Living Words for you and me.

The Utensils:  Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge

Satan and the world want to “spit” on this beautiful Table all the time.  Their devices, schemes and perversions can be exposed and known by us.

God desires to SERVE us every day.  His thoughts are pure, living, and forever the same.  At this Table is also Living Waters for refreshment.

He will not deprive us of living food and living waters, even though we’ve eaten “other stuff.”  God’s will is to give us Living Bread and Water forever.

Communion and Fellowship with God and His Son is the way to fruitful living on a daily basis.  His Son paid the price for us to have full access to God ALL THE TIME!

“And indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.”  I John 1:3b

“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”  II Corinthians 13:14

Don’t let ANYONE CHEAT or ROB you dear brother and sister of your seat at the King’s Table – your name is there – take a seat and eat!

(Colossians 2: 18, 19)

“Thank you, Father for this precious place you have given us in your Son and with your Son – at the King’s Table.  Thank you for the precious meal you are serving today.  In Jesus name, Amen.”

The Truth of Jesus Christ

The Beautiful Good News of Jesus Christ,

the True Savior of All Men

For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; ^[though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

We have had the privilege of traveling several countries during the years, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the things I have observed is that no matter what country and/or culture, there is a theme among humanity that remains.

And here it is:

1) People "try" to do something to appear they are pleasing God either by rituals and ceremonies, or deeds.

2) People think they are not as bad as the next guy and have not committed "horrendous" deeds so this is what will "get them to heaven."

3) People "avoid" God because they believe He will punish them.

What is the TRUTH of the Gospel then?

If we believe the Scriptures, Romans tells us that ALL men are sinners – born into sin because of the fall. It happened. Man lost divine union with God because of Adam’s sin. Satan was behind it.

It does not take a “rocket scientist” as they say, to look and see the devastation sin brought on humanity: murders, lies, cheating, sickness, hatred, jealousies, envies – all sorts.

This is where if we will simply admit, we can say “I have sinned too.”

BUT GOD wanted to save this mess. This is why Jesus Christ. He is not another religion. He is a living Person who actually was born 2,000 years ago. But He was not born “conventional style.” Why?

If Jesus Christ had been conceived like babies are today, He would have had the bloodline of Adam resulting in His being constituted a sinner.

Instead, God’s beautiful plan was to choose a virgin named Mary and conceive Christ by His Spirit overshadowing her womb. It happened.

Christ NEVER sinned. He lived here on planet earth for 33 years. At age 30, He was anointed by God for ministry. For three years He healed the sick, preached God’s Good News and corrected man’s idea he could come to God any other way except through Him.

God planned for Jesus Christ to die on the cross. Why? God was making Christ the “whipping post” for our sins – for ALL of man’s sins. More than that though – God was making a WAY for sinful man to now have divine union with God that was lost through Adam.

Since Christ was innocent and was only bearing OUR sins, God raised Him from the grave – from the dead. Then Christ ascended to God in heaven with His blood that washed away the very reason for our separation from God. After Christ ascended, God poured out His Holy Spirit to come and live in man. Freely.

Now any person can receive God’s provision for eternal life and forgiveness of sins! But it is through Jesus Christ alone.

When I heard the message of God’s Good News, I received Christ into my dead heart. This is when God quickened me – made me alive eternally with His Spirit. I was joined again to God. I have His Holy Spirit. ALL my sins were washed away – I became a new creature – no longer a member of Adam’s race – but now a real live member of God’s Son whom He calls: the NEW MAN.

I look like a human being. This is because I am. Being a new creature doesn’t make us look different or not have human traits and desires. We are human beings. No, we are simply now born of God’s Spirit because of what Christ did - we now have hope of being a REAL person – no longer deformed from sin’s devastation.

Everything that was just said means there is NO religion to do. Jesus Christ paid the price.

We just simply now walk and talk with God and His wonderful Son, Jesus Christ. We are able to know God now because of His Holy Spirit dwelling inside us.

If this is true (and it is), is there any reason we wouldn’t want to receive God’s Son? Is there any reason we want to continue to debate whether or not we are good enough to have this reconciliation with God on our own?

The Scriptures above give the ultimate reason for God’s Son coming to earth to save us: LOVE. God is love. He had His Son paid the price for us only because of LOVE. Not human love – the love of God.

Oh, we would grasp the simplicity of God’s message with childlike hearts. God offers eternal life through Jesus Christ. God offers complete forgiveness of every wrong we have done or will ever do! God offers a future and a hope after we leave planet earth.

God offers eternity with Him. God offers to walk with us here and now despite all of earth’s struggles and devastations. 

So...if I am "doing" something to get God to approve of me "better," I am missing the point.  God already now lives inside me - Jesus completely paid the price.  My life and walk now is simply allowing Him to "do" all in and through me - resting in Him.

God offers Himself to us as Father – to be reconciled to Him into His family through Christ.

"Dear Father, cause people to believe in Your Son, Jesus Christ and to know the incredible Good News You are bringing them today."
